Equipment used:

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 x 22" Qualatex Happy Valentine's bold Heart
  • 1 x 18" Smilie face Heart
  • 1 x  Anagram Full PurpleDecorator Panel
  • 4 x 5" Qualatex  Purple Violet
  • 2 x D6 Gemar Lilac balloon
  • 2 x D4 Gemar balloon( as attachment)
  • Red Tulle Bow
  • Stretchy Balloon Tape
  • Balloon Bond

Step by Step Instructions:

    Step 1
    Open up the Purple Decorator panel, and attach Balloon Stretchy Tape down one of the long edges of the panel

    Step 2
    Take the other long edge of the panel and attach to the
    Balloon Stretchy Tape, press all the way along the seam to make sure there is good conection

    Step 3
    Using the Mini Cool Aire® "Dual ProTM" Inflator, inflate the Purple panel. Remember to use the large foil adapter that switches the motor to Low Pressure Foil inflation

    Step 4
    Tie two uninflated D4 together

    Step 5
    Inflate the Happy Valentine's bold Heart, with air and tie the uninflated D4's to the neck

    Step 6
    Take the two 85-gram Heavy Weights and tie them to the other end of the D4's

    Step 7
    Drop the weight into the inflated panel and let the bubble sit on the top of the pane

    Step 8
    Using a small length of Balloon Bond, attach a half of an uninflated D4, to the top of the bubble, as an attachment point

    Step 9
    Inflate two of the 5" Purple Violet balloons to 3.5", and tie together to make a duplet

    Step 10
    Repeat step 9 and make another duplet, then twist together to make a cluster

    Step 11
    Inflate the heart foil and tie the end off with a piece of D4

    Step 12
    Tie the foil heart to the top of the bubble using the pieces of uninflated D4

    Step 13
    Then wrap the cluster around the join to make the collar, making sure the head sits properly on the cluster

    Step 14
    Using the Twist-N-Flate®  inflate the D6, leaving abour 4" at the end, and tie off

    Step 15
    About 10 " from the knot make a pinch twist, to make the elbow

    Step 16
    From the pinch twist leave about the same distance and make another pinch twist, to make the hand, tie off
    and get rid or any excess balloon

    Step 17
    Repeat steps 14 to 16 to make another arm, using the first arm as a template

    Step 18
    Tie the two D6 together by the necks, and slot under the cluster of 5" balloonspositioning the arms

    Step 19
    Make a soft bow with the red tulle

    Step 20
    Then using Multi tape attach to the cluster as a bow tie
