Step by Step Instructions:

    Step 1
Inflate a 260 white to about 2", using the Mini Cool Aire "Dual Pro TM" Inflator, (remember to hold the 260 about halfway up and stretch it slightly so as to encourage the balloon to inflate straight) and tie a knot
    Step 2
Repeat step 1 with the other 260 white
    Step 3
Take a Maxi stick ll and place the other 3 maxi stiks ll so they are just about 1/2" above the middle stick and sit around it,  than hold all together by wrapping the 260 around the length of the sticks for more instructions on wrapping the maxi sticks see Wrapping with a 260
    Step 4
Glue the maxi cup ll to the middle of the cake board
    Step 5
Cut the oasis in half, and remove a v shape section on each side, so they can sit comfortabley around the maxi cup ll
    Step 6
    Glue the oasis in place
    Step 7
Push the uncovered piece of the maxi stickll into the maxi cup ll
    Step 8
Cut the tulle into 3" squares, take two squares and pick them together( remember to fluff out he picks to get a great full look)
    Step 9
You will need about 20 tulle picks
    Step 10
Pick the oasis until it is full
    Step 11
Using the Mini Cool Aire "Dual Pro TM" Inflator, Inflate two 5" white balloons to 3.5" and tie into a duplet
Repeat step 11  five more times, so you have 6 duplets
    Step 13
Take two duplets and twist them together to form a four balloon cluster
    Step 14
Take hold of the four balloon cluster and slide your hand in between the cluster so you have two balloons at the top and two balloons at the bottom
    Step 15
This is were you are going to wrap the next duplet into the cluster, so you end up with three duplets in you cluster
    Step 16
Again take hold of the balloons and divide them so you have three balloons at the top and three balloons at the bottom, then wrap in the fourth duplet. The reason for dividing the balloons each time is to make sure you get each duplet into the centre of the topiary ball. If they do not all go into the centre you will end up with an egg shaped ball instead of a round one
    Step 17
Repeat this until you have used all six duplets, don’t forget to divide the balloons before you wrap the next one in. it is easier when making a topiary ball if you hold the topiary against yourself and pull the next duplet towards you, through the ball
    Step 18
Once you have used all six duplets, if you have gone into the middle of the topiary each time you should end up with a ball shape. You may have to move the balloon about a bit just to get them to sit. The way to tell if they are in the right position, is no matter which balloon you look at, you should see a daisy, that is one balloon in the middle and five balloons around it
    Step 19
To attach the topiary to the top of the wrapped sticks simply open up two balloons in the topiary and slide it onto the top of the sticks. There is no need for glue or tape to hold it, the balloons being latex will grip the wrapped 260's
    Step 20
To decorate the topiary add some fluffy feathers. Push one into each space where three balloons meet
    Step 21
Make three fantasy roses using the 5" white
    Step 22
Pick these around the base, between the tulle
    Step 23
Pick a few white fluffy feathers into the base
    Step 24
To finish off take your pearl and attach a length of curling ribbon to each end. twist one end into the topiary so the pearls sit under it.
    Step 25
Twist the pearls around the Maxi sticks, to the bottom and pick into place

Tips and Additional Instructions

Topiary's are great designs to use as table centerpieces, as they are so simple and quick. You can do most of the mechanics and building of the piece and then add the topiary ball at the last minute.
